What a Difference a Day Makes
As a Plein Aire painter, you never know what to expect. It was a glorious, crisp day for painting. Colors were out in their full glory. All Dressed in masks and keeping our distance, a couple of painting buddies, and I went to Montana de Oro State Park to paint a seascape. We were surprised to find roadwork blocking off traffic just above Spooners Cove, where we were planning to paint. The flagman allowed us and hikers on foot to pass through the barricade under strict but cordial provisions for everyone’s safety.
A young man passing through with a video camera asked if he could tape a brief clip of me painting to include in a video he was making to show unique areas one might visit. He sent me the photo above with a link to his completed 3-minute video. I was quite impressed and thought you might enjoy viewing it as well.
